Professional Summary

Reliable - safety conscious - excellent work ethic and am always willing to learn. The experiences from my work history are in farming, especially poultry. Production experience includes hot mold plastic extrusion where I began as machine operator and after learning all 27 various mold presses was promoted to section lead which brought increased responsibilities such as giving breaks, training new workers, tool control for my section. As part of quality assurance team I attended meetings and, as a team we reduced the return rate of parts from 400 pieces per million to 250 per million

For poultry experience I was hired as an egg packer, then trained as Assistant Manager for the farm which had 80,000 layer hens, That position saw me responsible for oversight of the entire operation, including general maintenance. This position had me responsible for ordering feed, functioning as on site animal welfare officer and data entry for production per day, live animal weights, salmonella testing, dead bird counts and hiring as well as termination of workers.

At Den Hartog Industries I was placed by a temp agency to work in blow molding. Due to employer need my actual position was as product finisher. Using finishing sheets the products were scraped to ensure all seams were free of defects such as pinholes. Repaired defects when possible. Placed logo per individual customer preference on tanks using adhesive and application of direct heat to bring the temperature to 389 degrees to ensure proper sealing. Physically entered tanks to insert inner struts and baffles. Placed and secured outer manhole lid. Maintaining good house keeping in work areas.

For Iowa Prison industries I worked various positions over the course of 8 years in an industrial metal furniture shop. Functioned an rotating roles as needed: Tool control - wells saw operator - chop saw operator - sheet metal shear - Operated Pines tube bender and various brake presses.
