Current Job Description:

Presently Works for Pacific IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd. As Senior LTE RF Optimization Engineer From 02nd January 2018 to till date in Chennai.

Current Project- Sprint Mobile FSM4 BBU SWAP USA

Project Description: Replacing Former ALU BBU with Nokia FSM4 BBU For Sprint Mobile Both FDD & TDD Band. After site migrated to Air-scale Nokia FSM4 we are responsible for Hourly Monitoring for 48 Hour and Daily Monitoring up to 10 days from migration date, also we are monitoring existent CDMA & EVDO network KPI’s after migration for checking any impact on KPI Stats. Once site is migrated and assigned to us we are responsible for end to end delivery of site.

Any degradation in KPI’s we are doing analysis and finding root cause for degradation in KPI’s. Also, we are doing Parameter and power Audit with the Help of Mapping rule and finding discrepancy in parameter and reference signal power for site which was migrated & impacted with KPI’s. implemented same in Maintenance window (MW) and Post KPI’s checking.

Apart From this we are taking follow-up with FM & AM Team for clearing Alarm on Site, Parameter, Power Changes,

ANR Reset & Site Reset.

TECHNICAL SKILL:

LTE & Volte-

LTE KPI analysis at cell level and improvement in worst performing cells. KPIs include Intra LTE Handovers, RRC Conn Success Rate, ERAB Est Success Rate, ERAB Drop Rate, Throughput, PS Traffic, PRB Utilization, RRC Connected Users and CQI. Improving network Accessibility, retain ability, Mobility & Integrity KPIs, neighbor optimization, resolving CO-PCI issues, MIMO performance analysis, DT post processing, neighbor planning, etc.

SCFT preparation (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, PCI). Physical RF Optimization (drive test, bad RSCP, interference area identification.)

Work on LTE FDD and TDD Technology (FDD Band-850,1800,800,1900 & TDD Band-2300,2500)

Call Drop analysis (RRC, EPC RAB, …) based on OSS and drive test KPIs (T310, T311, T304, tuning)

Handovers Optimization to improve their SSR and balancing traffic also (event A1, A3, A4 and A5, B1, B2)

Drive Test log files analysis through, ACTIX, Tems Discovery and prepare reports for customer interaction.

KPIs analysis like IRAT HOSR, retainability, Accessibility, Mobility, Availability, Service Integration, Utilization and Traffic KPI, HSDPA & HSUPA throughputs.

Code utilization, HOSR, ERAB success rate.

OSS KPI daily basis/Hourly basis and maintain worst cell and traffic low cells.

Check KPIs and Counter of poor KPI.

WCDMA-

Single Site Verification 3G: PS Detach, Frequency and Scrambling Code, LAC and KPIs CPICH RSCP, CPICH Ec/Io, Voice Call (MT & MO), PS service, 3G->2G voice handover, 3G->2G cell reselection, 2G->3G cell reselection.

Video Call Setup Success Rate _VSSR, Speech Call Setup Success Rate _SCSSR, Call setup success Rate CS CSSR AMR 12.2 - 2G to 3G _CSSR.

KPIs analysis like IRAT HOSR, SHOR, RSCP, Ec/No, HSDPA & HSUPA throughputs.

Providing timely solutions to RF problems and optimizing the network according to coverage and capacity requirement. Resolving customer complaints for Call Drop, Low HSPA, Low Coverage and Quality Issue. Involved in Pilot Pollution analysis and try to solve it.

Analysis of Active set, monitored set and Detected set of SC codes for trouble shooting and resolving issues like call drop and handover failure.

Post-processing and analysis of the drive tests (Pilot pollution, overshooting, Co-scrambling code, Cross feeders…)

Providing support in coverage checking (RSCP, missing neighbor/ handover failure, interference & faulty hardware) and optimization according to clutter.

Physical Optimization for antenna heights, tilts and azimuths for all the cells/sectors in the network.

Daily visit of customer complaints from mails which gets resolved on field visits, complaints from dump which gets resolved on call, SMS complaints on weekend.

GSM-

Single Site Verification 2G: check BCCH, CI, LAC, Throughput, Rx Level, Rx Quality.

Drive test analysis and statistics analysis 2G KPI (HOSR, CCSR, CDR, Coverage plot RX Quality, Speech Quality Index and Analysis Downlink Interference).

Network Optimization based on KPI e.g. - SD Block, SD Drop, TCH Blocking and TCH Drop.

Responsible for the KPI, TCH Congestion (BBH), TASR, HOSR, SD blocking, TCH Drop, Rx qual. Accountable for Optimization of TCH Utilization and TCH Congestion rate.

Carrying out KPI Analysis of cluster, analyzing drive test problems for the whole network and determining if drop call caused by interference, Missing Neighbor, Over Shoot, Poor Handover Parameters, Poor Power Control, Site Addition recommended if necessary.
