Fidelity Brokerage Technology (FBT) is a suite of services offered to business partners which enables them to succeed in their respective marketplaces by designing, building and maintaining the technology platforms and products. FBT has over 2,500 associates located in Boston, Covington, Merrimack, New York, New Jersey, Smithfield, Raleigh-Durham, Westlake, as well as India, Ireland, and China.

I was responsible in the testing of various applications as they related / interfaced with the Order Management subsystem. A subset of my responsibilities was to identify off shore QA resources and deliver testing requirements and oversee the creation of all test cases, insuring they met the business requirements. I filled the position of GC (General Contractor) which entailed providing coordination and collaboration between the various QA groups involved in the testing effort. I interfaced directly with project and program managers from the beginning to the end of the System Development Lifecycle, also responsible for production validation once new code-set had been implemented.

Analyzed business requirements, functional specification, design documentation and developed end to end test strategies in both Agile and waterfall Software Development Environment

Responsible for the creation and execution of test case’s documenting the results in Quality Center as well as reporting and managing defect tracking.
