Gender and Hooking up; From one night stand to catching feelings. conducted a 10 in-depth semi structured interviews under the direction of Dr. Baozhen Luo of the department of Sociology. We used the process of coding from open coding, axial coding and selective coding to reach research findings. The findings were presented at Western Washington University scholar’s week 2014.

Relationship between Military service and mental health problems.

The purpose of the study was to examine some of the factors that hinder the smooth transition to civilian life of veterans due to military services. The data used was taken from the 1997 National Longitudinal survey of youth under the direction of professor Jay Teachman. Research findings were presented at Western Washington University Sociable week.

Independent study

Examined the quality of education in Nigeria public schools by using Ghana public education system as a case study. Conducted an in depth analysis of public school records in both Nigeria and Ghana by using data from the United Nations Educational, scientific and cultural organization and world bank under the supervision of professor Karen Bradley of the department of sociology. Research findings was presented to the department of sociology Western Washington university.
