1. “Effects of Land use/Land cover based on soil loss in parts of West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh”, Sri Rama Swami Memorial University (SRM) Chennai,July 2013 – May 2014. Description - The significant effects of land use/land cover based on soil loss are identified. Universal Soil Loss Equation, popularly known as USLE model is used for the estimation of annual soil loss from agricultural basins. The rainfall erosivity factor (R), soil erodibility factor (K), topographic factors (L and S) and the cropping and management factors (C and P) are considered for the analysis using a weighted overlay analysis.

2. “Estimation of Soil Erosion parameters by using remote sensing and GIS techniques”, National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) Kakinada, June 2013.

Description - The project focused on estimation of erosion using the universal soil loss equation (USLE). The parameters were calculated using the data obtained from remote sensing techniques. Parametric models have been developed to forecast soil erosion at the tamilleru river basin (Eluru, West Godavari District) for estimating annual soil loss from the agricultural basin. Parameters such as R, K, L&S, C&P factors have been classified using rainfall, soil, SRTM DEM and land use/land cover data. Land use and land cover data have been classified using IRS LISS-III&LISS-IV satellite data with 23.5 & 5.8 meters resolution. 3. “Land use inventory for development planning using geo-informatics in parts of West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh”, Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Application Centre (APSRAC), Hyderabad, Oct 2010 - April 2011.

Description - Present day land use/land cover is an essential indicator for assessing resources potential. The project included identification and detailed description of prime agricultural lands, forest, open space, wetlands, and streams. GIS techniques are used to classify the land use/land cover of the area. The IRS LISS-III& LISS-IV satellite data with 23.5 & 5.8 meters Resolution, Toposheet is used for the classification. 4. “A Project Report on Gas Agency, CH.S.D.ST.THERESA’S COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, Sept 2008 - April 2009.

Description – The project was aimed at developing an online Gas Management system to the distributor as well as the user. Customer manually makes the periodic booking of cylinders. There are features like two modules administrator (owner) and user (customer). 5. “Mapping of Ecologically Sensitive Areas (ESA’s) and Critically Vulnerable Coastal Areas (CVCA’s) along the coast of India”, NATIONAL CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE COASTAL MANAGEMENT (NCSCM), Chennai, Sept 2014 - Jan 2016.

Description – The project was aimed at identifying and mapping of ecologically sensitive areas and vulnerable coastal areas along the coastal line India. The Nature of work included identification of Mangroves, Mudflats and Saltmarsh using Remotely Sensed Data. 6. “Delineation of sediment cell for the east and west coasts of India”, NATIONAL CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE COASTAL MANAGEMENT (NCSCM), Chennai, Sept 2015 - Jan 2016. Description - Change detection on Land use and land cover for decades is classified using IRS (LISS-III, LISS-IV) & LANDSAT Satellite Data with 23.5,5.8, &30 meters resolution by using image interpretation techniques along coastal line India.

SEMINARS ATTENDED

• “National Seminar on Development and Sustainability of Earth Resources and Environment (DSERE 2011)”, organised by the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Adikavi Nannaya University.

• “Recent Advances in Satellite Image Processing & Application (RASIP2014)”, organised by Department of Civil Engineering, SRM University.
