Account responsibilities are focused on managing current volume with Wal-Mart, Sam’s, Target, HEB, Kroger and Albertsons.

New branded distribution has been awarded by Target, HEB, Sam’s and Kroger during first 12 months of sales activity at Uno Foods.

New distribution accounts for a 145% increase in sales 2016 vs. 2017. Significant growth at Target and Sam’s is critical to continued success in 2018.

Grew Net Margin $’s by 29%, FY2016 vs. FY2017.

Private Label Pizza business secured at HEB in fall 2017. $2 mm in Incremental volume.

2009 - 2015 Little Lady Foods Elk Grove Village, IL

Senior National Accounts Manager, Contract Manufacturing/Private Label

Managed $65 mm (40%) of company volume. Little Lady Foods is a manufacturer of frozen pizzas and sandwiches to the Private Label, Contract Manufacturing and Food Service sectors. Nestle/Kraft – DiGiorno Pizza, Heinz – Smart Ones Pizza, Kellogg’s – Kashi Pizza, Aldi – Mama Cozzi Pizza, Annie’s Organic Pizza. Managing customers from new product development to pricing/operating income to the manufacturing line.

Successfully launched 2 Kashi and 2 Morningstar Farms single serve pizzas for Kellogg in October 2014. Kellogg Silver level Vendor of the Year awarded in 2013 & 2014.

Worked with Nestle to secure 3 year contract extension – DiGiorno Thin Crust Pizzas (2014 – 2016). This extension is worth $150 mm over that time period.

Grew sales by 32% in 2012 at Aldi by implementing new packaging, product improvements and incremental promotional support.

Successfully reduced conversion costs for Heinz by $.05/unit, creating an increase in marketing spend.

Sold in 3 new Smart Ones Pizza sku’s for Heinz introduction into the Canadian market, creating $3 mm in incremental volume.

Managed Period 12 2009 Sharebuilder at Kroger that created $1.2 mm in incremental sales volume.

Added Annie’s Organic as a new customer – 8/2012. $15 mm in incremental volume.

Golden West Food Group – new customer – Guy Fieri “Dirty Crust” Pizza and Trader Joe’s PL Deep Dish Pizza - $7 mm in additional volume.

Senior Account Manager – Bakery Division

As a Senior Account Manager, I led Sara Lee’s DSD Bakery efforts at Jewel Food Stores in Chicago, Illinois. I was charged with growing shelf space, market share, sales volume and gross margin while managing trade spend and working intricately with Jewel’s management and the Chicago DSD team on a daily basis.

Responsible for $10 mm in DSD volume responsibility in the bread category at Jewel Food Stores.

Increased bread category market share by 2% from November 2004 – January 2007 through promotional and pricing analysis. Full P & L responsibility for the customer and brand.

Gross margins grew +3.2% through more effective trade spend, strategic planning and cost reduction.

Shelf space grew by 4% from 11/04 – 1/07 using supporting IRI and category data analysis, weekly customer ad program tracking and improved product positioning.

Wired Sara Lee to Jewel’s retail operations through consistent penetration of Jewel District Management team and Operations Specialist personnel. Team building/project management initiatives were critical to building credibility.

Jack Fitch was a National Account Sales Leader reporting directly to me at Little Lady Foods. I am Steve Zenlea, Chief Operating Officer at Uno Foods. I have known and worked with Jack Fitch for over two years, during which time he worked as a Sales Manager for me at Uno Foods.

In his time with Uno Foods, Jack was able to grow our business with some very challenging customers – Target and Sam’s. His work with these customers helped increase his business by 145%, 2016 vs. 2017.

Jack is adept at finding solutions to problems, turning those problems into opportunities. His customers look to him for those solutions. At Sam’s, his proposal to increase Sam’s margin in exchange for additional club distribution caused business to increase by 300%. The increased volume helped Uno Foods achieve better ingredient and packaging pricing, in addition to lowering overhead per unit.
