Perform initial patient assessments and work with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate plans of care for patients of all ages, manage average caseload of 100 patients.

Experienced and specialized in the tracheotomy care, physical therapy, ventilator and dressing of burn patients

Utilize clinical expertise to remove sutures, administer medications and injections, administer IV therapy, and test glucose levels. Perform venipuncture, and provide wound care.

Start IV lines, monitor patients respiratory ventilation, pulse oximetry, assist with intubation, respond to all codes.

Set nasogastric & dohoft feeding tubes, Foleys & swanganz catheter, central lines, assist for temporary pacemakers

Observe patients and actualize nursing interventions to expedite healing and recovery after surgery.

Coordinated with the dietitians in case of the GIT surgery patients

Managed chronic and critical patients under supervision of doctors

Providing care in, emergency room and Pre-Post-operative units.

Clinical expertise in venipuncture, medication administration, wound care, and minor and major surgical assistance

Communicating with the doctors and senior health care authorities for improving patient care

Patient Education and Staff Development

Educate patients and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment options, and disease process and self-management.

Responsible for budgeting, coordination of the staff, and monitoring of patients' conditions

Provide comprehensive instruction on discharge plans to sustain continuity of care upon discharge and drive recovery goals.

Precept student nurses and new hires on unit and hospital policies, clinical skills, and direct patient care.

Skilled in demonstrating physical movements to patients struggling with movements

Conversing with patient and family members and keeping them informed on medical procedures

Preparing brochures for patients and their families, and participating in the preparation of medical educational videos
