Worked as a Parole Officer handling caseloads of convicted criminals. Became certified as a General Instructor as wells as Firearms Instructor assisting cadets in basic training as well as regional requalifications. Completed New Managers Training in 2001. Served as Assistant Team Commander of an IRT team at the 2004 G-8 at Sea Island. Elected President of the Parole Association of Georgia 2005-2006 heading up an 11 person committee charged with Planning and Executing two agency-wide conferences at Jekyll Island and Savannah. Led the largest fundraiser in PAOG history netting more than $12,000. Served as the Regional Training Coordinator during 2012 and 2013. Served as Specialized Sex Offender Officer since 2013 and throughout the transition to DCS in 2015. Currently the sole Specialized officer covering Mitchell, Baker, and Calhoun Counties comprising more than 1,100 square miles and managing a large caseload of Sex Offenders. Education
