While the components of the shoulder as well as spectrum of shoulder diagnoses is this orthopedics specialty, we assist in the rehabilitation process in skilled intervention regarding countless diagnosis.

October 2015 – November 2017 Farmer City Rehab with Rehab Care Clinical / Rehab Program Director: Manage rehab staff coordination, set dates for evaluations and potential D/Cs as applicable and in view of communication with a team of administration and Nursing staff. It was my responsibility to ensure a smooth running of the rehab department, provide training to all staff per company policy, changes in policies and compliance updates. Provide care to case load in skilled PT as a PTA.

June 2014 – October 2015 Guardian Headache and Pain Management Inst. Bloomington, Il I accepted a management position involving a PT clinic start up. As the Rehab Director I was delegated to developing the equipment inventory prior to start up. I initiated a scheduling system regarding treatment session duration and designed paper work and documents for the PT department with up-to-date revisions as needed. I brought on a PT with 40 years of experience to perform our evaluations and reassessments and serve as a compliment to the clinic. This is a pain clinic that specializes in chronic pain. I worked with individuals with SIJ and spinal dysfunction. I utilized much of my manual therapy experience to address long standing myofascial pain and symmetry as well as corrective TE progression.

Aquatic therapy was one provision implemented in the plan of care if the pt was a candidate. My additional rehab experience consisted of a full spectrum of orthopedics, work related injuries and surgical / non-surgical recovery and acute wound care after surgery. In the midst of my employment I became certified as a Masters personal trainer with the intentions of receiving an additional certification in nutrition in which I later accomplished.

I was required to make home visits for individuals when conditions limited ability to attend classes. Volunteer Positions

Summer 2002: Easter Seals Summer Camp, Lake Bloomington, Il As a High school student, I spent one summer assisting individuals of various ages and diagnoses that attend camp. The focus of camp was to help such ones gain an increased feeling of independence, motivation and joyful memories. My scope of activities encompassed horseback riding, crafts, wilderness adventures, swimming, dance, Special Olympics, meals, nap time and stories as age related for all.

My focus is to bring my experience as a PTA together with my Masters Personal Trainers Certification and Massage Therapy License to provide the balanced approach to wellness that every individual requires based on their specific circumstances. Brining small businesses together in order to assist in the balances approach to wellness within a community.
