Engineer co-op - Electronic Validation, Chassis Analysis Support – Greer, SC

●Controlled testing and analysis of tire pressure monitoring systems with the goal of ensuring there are no defects in the final product when it reaches the customer to help customers become repeating customers.

●Managed logistical support for testing and analysis of critical launch issues so that any design changes can be implemented prior to hard deadlines to block the high costs associated with delay launch.

●Developed and performed an audit for brake line installation on the assembly line preventing contamination and damage to hydraulic brake systems impede future failures of the system lowering rework costs for the company.

●Manipulated data and maintained weekly reports to track the overall trend of nonconformities of a high priority issue. Reports were sent to upper management as a resource to find the underlying issue.

●Improved ergonomics for tire storage room and associated procedures ensuring that our department meets all codes and regulations from inspections and audits to avoid both accidents and penalties.

●Investigated and documented the testing process used to find nonconformance issues with steering gears in relation to sound and function to help standardize the process used plant-wide.

●Evaluated technical content for specialists for chassis and related systems to help them with diagnosis of any issues and implementation of any necessary changes so that each product shipped represented the high standard of BMW.

●Created and presented weekly reports regarding upcoming build milestones and information to update the team on any upcoming deadlines.
