VT San Antonio Aerospace Inc – San Antonio, TX

Remove and replace a wide variety of aircraft components on all areas of aircraft including but not limited to engines, flight controls, actuators, landing gear, oil, hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel filters, air conditioning systems, etc. Perform critical functional, system and operational checks from flight deck and run ground maintenance. Marshall aircraft. Read and interpret maintenance manuals and drawings. Troubleshoot hard faults and rectify non-routine write ups. Rigging of flight controls, cables and adjustments of all mechanical systems. Document in detail work performed and order parts/material as required. Assist fellow mechanics in accomplishing tasks at hand. Inspect areas of aircraft for corrosion, wear, and other discrpencies. Follow FAA required task cards ie: Airworthiness Directives, Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins. 08/2010 to 11/2010 APG Mechanic
