I plan to apply my sound work ethic and 6 years’ Accounting experience towards a virtual part-time position.

~ Accounting

I have worked in the Accounting Department at The Everett Clinic since August 29th, 2011. In this position I have earned great knowledge in financial processes including but not limited to: A/P and A/R, GL entries, stocks, bonds, mutual funds investment reconciliation and reporting, corporate credit card tracking and organization for 60+ employees, allocating and reporting monthly continuing education allowances to physicians and staff and fielding questions, and tracking and recording banking fees and credit card terminals.

~ Managerial/Leadership:

My Lead position at the Everett Clinic gave me a year’s worth of management/leadership experience. I was Lead to a group of ten staff for a year. All but one of the staff started after I became Lead so I trained, molded and guided all of the rest helping them to reach their fullest potential.

I also completed a six-session Leadership training program through my current employer which included:

Characteristics of Effective Leaders Performance Management

Giving Performance Feedback Hiring the Best

Building Effective Teams Supporting Change

~ Team Player:

I have always worked well in team environments. I get along well with all people while working toward a common goal for the benefit of the company as a whole. The staff I led worked hard to please me and were efficient and productive.

~ Bookkeeping:

My Assistant Store Supervisor position at Teri’s Hallmark provided me with daily cash drawer balancing and bank deposits experience. I also assisted with recording and tracking daily sales and inventories, etc.

As a Lead at The Everett Clinic I was responsible for tracking and managing daily Insurance A/R and reporting monthly totals to the Accounting department. I also worked with the IT department matching EFT payments to remittance vouchers.
