I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies in Accounting and in February 2018, I will begin graduate coursework toward a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Construction Management. My aspiration to reach higher academic goals hinges on the 20 plus years I have working in the chemical industry. I have extensive SAP and MS Office experience and Excel is my strong suit. I know how to write complex formulas, as well as use multiple functions (including VLOOKUP) and pivot tables.
Furthermore, I have five years of cost control experience in the chemical industry that includes working two complex turnarounds with budgets that exceeded $70 million and involved seven units. Additionally, I have finalized costs for four turnarounds while concurrently forecasting and reporting costs for ongoing turnarounds. All WBS elements, work orders, projects, requisitions, and purchase orders were created in SAP and I am familiar with each one.
My specialty as it relates to turnaround costs is big ticket contract rentals, equipment rentals, and materials management. I have forecasted and reported millions of dollars involving cranes, frac tanks, rental equipment, and materials. I have also confirmed general mechanical and I/E billable hours, as well as validated other periodic costs related to per diem and travel expenses.
I am confident that I can add value to a corporation, because my cache of skills includes understanding GAAP-compliance practices and financial reporting, superior communication skills, and advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications. I also have a great understanding of SAP as it relates to WBS elements, job plans, work orders, plant maintenance, requisitions, purchase orders, and more. Lastly, I offer strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with functional and business partners to strategize best path forward activities.
In closing, I would like to meet with your team. Please provide available dates and times that will best work for you.
Best regards,
Donna Gaubatz
