Afaan Oromo Language Stemmer Addis Ababa University: Developed a module that stems root words using PYTHON, features include identifying root words from morphologically different words using probabilistic approach. Programmed a module to extract useful words from document corpus, perform data-cleaning from noise, developed an interface for future use for integration.

Online Book Inventory System, University of Gondar: Built an online book inventory system that streamlined shipping and logistics for moving books to diverse branch locations. Implemented a store portal module and a central inventory admin portal module. Developed class entity diagrams Programmed user security and authentication features, with client side and server-side validation. Deployed hack-proof security features on JSP pages.

Sense Based Query Expansion, Addis Ababa University: Delivered a sense based expansion technique for information retrieval using statistical method that analyses similarity between words using PYTHON. Created a module that handles polysemous words before expansion and integrated with a stemmer. Displayed related document from the corpus. Method showed 31% improvement in precision.

Diagnose-Me, Addis Ababa University: Built a patient advisory system for Breast Cancer Patients. developed with PROLOG. It is a KB system capable of learning symptoms that might be associated with the disease and gives advice to patients accordingly.
