OBJECTIVE:
I have seventeen years of experience in the field of respiratory care, two and half years as a clinical coordinator, and three years as department supervisor, which I have enjoyed. I am a very enthusiastic, full of energy, honest, and compassionate about respiratory care. I am ready to tackle challenges and help make improvements to serve the team. WORK EXPERIENCE:
Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Aberdeen, WA Population: Neonatal, Pediatric, and Adult
•Position: Cardiopulmonary Supervisor 03/2014-Present
I am responsible for staffing, budgeting, productivity, annual reviews and quality improvement projects for the Cardiopulmonary department. I am a team member on the code blue, environment of care, value analysis, survey readiness, and medical community forum committees for our facility. I have brought stability to the staffing of the department while increasing staff engagement through improving teamwork and restructuring the department. In my first year, I saved $50,000 dollars through standardizing and developing par levels for supplies. I also developed a purchase plan for replacing old equipment was able to save the department $47,000 dollars in rental costs. Purchased a new fleet of EKG machines through fund raising and foundation donations. My role was in planning and volunteering time at the foundation Gala event. Currently in the process of developing a Pulmonary Rehabilitation program for our facility with the goal of reducing COPD readmissions. I have experience with Truven productivity system. I am also a member of the Grays Harbor Community Foundation Board. I also work bedside providing nebulizer treatments, ventilatory support, and perform outpatient pulmonary function studies. In my role, I also provide patient education like breathing and cough techniques that can improve their quality of life.

I work with Drager Babylog VN500 ventilator, bubble cpap, High Flow Nasal Cannula for equipment. Attend all high risk deliveries, intubate, arterial punctures, administer surfactant, and manage patient airways. Run samples on ISTAT system. I also did care partnering with nursing staff when needed. While I was here, I helped to build and implement an intubation program for the therapists.
California Pacific Medical Center; San Francisco, CA Population: Neonatal, Pediatric, and Adult
•Position: Pediatric Clinical Coordinator 8/ 2006 - 10/2012
I worked 2.5 years as Pediatric Clinical Coordinator some of my job functions were: writing and updating policies and procedures, setting up annual skills day for staff, reviewing and educating staff on new equipment and procedures, flex staffing based on patient acuity, annual reviews for 10 staff. In this role, I worked part time as a staff therapist and the other as supervisor. I also worked in the PFT lab performing testing, MVO2, Methacholine challenges, bronchoscopes, and EBUS. I worked with oscillators, Avea and PB 840 ventilators, Bipap Vision, Theravest, IPPV. Ran samples and maintained ISTAT blood gas system.

I worked at this facility as a traveler. I worked on their floors doing therapy, in cardiac recovery unit, intensive care unit, and neonatal ICU. I worked with Servo ventilators at this facility. Performed arterial punctures as well as ran blood samples.

I worked at this facility as a traveler. I worked in the ER, ICU, Cardiac recovery units, and floors. I performed arterial punctures and intubated at this hospital. I used the PB 840 and 7800 ventilators.
