Application for cabin crew member
Dear Sir / Madam
This is in response to the advertisement on your website regarding a vacancy for ESL teachers. I am greatly interested in this position and according to the requirements listed in the advertisement, I do qualify, hence I would like to apply for this position. I will submit all required additional documentation at your request.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of the Western Cape. I majored in courses such as Psychology, Sociology and Ethics. My interest in majoring in these courses was inspired by my long-term goal of social development and transformation. In the past year two years, I have worked as a teacher in two institutions. In 2016 I was a first-year Sociology and Anthropology tutor at UWC thereafter I worked for TUTOR ABC as a language consultant teaching English. During my undergraduate years at University, I have worked an ambassador, a sales representative and a hostess. As an ambassador together with the team hosted regular in-store product activations for brands such as Access, Nedbank, Renault, Nivea, MTN, SAB, NuMetro. As a sales representative consultant at DSTV, my responsibilities were to open new accounts, handle accounts related queries, billing, complaints, orders and assisting clients with technical queries. In my final year, I worked as a hostess for Cubana (Greenpoint). My main duties were taking reservations, welcoming clients, ensuring excellent service delivered & selling cigars. The opportunity of working in teams with people of different cultures has forwarded me with an advantage of acquiring invaluable communication skills and expertise that will enable me to champion the role of being a cabin crew member. I am open to new experiences and learning new information.
I hope to join your team soon
Yours sincerely,
Anita Khuselwa Kafu
