North American sales and service location of a European-based pharmaceutical industry packaging machinery/equipment manufacturing firm with world-wide sales, installation and service.

• Perform all purchasing and buying duties for shop/production materials, office supplies,

safety and building maintenance.

• Purchase order input, placement, maintenance, and historical record keeping.

• Vendor liaison – selection, RFQ preparation, bid award determination and outside

vendor solicitation/meeting contact for company business.

• Communication/coordination with production, engineering and sales departments based

on needed fabrication items (internal and external) and timeframe considerations.

Business Office Manager – SCG Palazzo Di Oro, LLC (2008-2011)

130 bed Assisted Living Facility offering Independent, Assisted, Respite, and Alzheimer’s care.

• Responsible for all aspects of billing, accounting, collections and record keeping.

• A/R and A/P duties included Medicaid Waiver and Diversion program management,

vendor qualification and set-up, healthcare related product purchasing, General Ledger

coding, payment recommendations.

• Prior to August 2010 additional responsibilities included acting as the onsite Human

Resources, Personnel, Benefits, and Payroll liaison with the corporate office.

Purchasing Manager – Valco Enterprises, LTD (2007)

Manufacturer and installation firm for hurricane and safety protection shutters ($12M) distributed through a network of qualified dealers throughout the United States and Caribbean.

• Purchased and maintained stock inventories ($2M) which included non-ferrous metal

extrusions and all related components, hardware, motors and electronics.

• Interfaced with production department scheduling advance product purchases.

• Responsible for development and maintenance of all proprietary dies held by various

extrusion vendors, as well as all individual product historical usage records.

• Supervised a staff of buyers and receiving clerks (three)

Purchasing Agent/Inventory Planner – Master Halco, Inc. (2001-2006)

North America’s leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of perimeter security and fencing products ($500+M) ~ Access Control Division ($15M)

• Maintained product acquisition, materials replenishment, maintenance and control of

inventories ($2M) for four regional distribution centers for further distribution by 60+

local warehouse facilities located throughout the U.S. and Canada.

• Primary point of contact between outside vendors, corporate product line manager and

headquarters for vendor qualifications, selection and inventory activities.

• Developed the “Rosetta Stone”; cross-referenced access control product information

tool, which was utilized by various corporate level departments.

• Effectively controlled inventory and stock management which contributed to an average

annual growth rate of 20-25% each year during the five years as purchasing agent.

Purchasing Agent/Buyer – Reeves Southeastern Corporation, Inc. (1991-2001)

Manufacturer and wholesale distributor of perimeter security and fencing products ($235M) which was purchased by Master Halco, Inc. in April 2001. Retained by Master Halco to further develop their newly formed access control division.

• Coordinated product acquisition through the corporate established outside

vendor/supplier base of all types of perimeter fencing and related accessories.
