Achievements:

Led search for new plant site, moving from a rural location to a 17-acre metropolitan site that was purchased for $1. Negotiated for and acquired a 10-year tax abatement on property.

Supervised the construction of the new 53,000-square-foot facility, and its subsequent expansion to a 153,000-square-foot plant. Relocated to a community with low utility rates, saving approximately $150,000 per year in comparison with operating utilities costs in adjacent areas.

Obtained low-interest industrial revenue bonds for equipment purchases. Obtained $90,000 grant to build railroad spur.

Expanded production presses from 9 to 38 and expanded labor force from 40 to 350 within one decade. Grew annual sales during that period from $2.4M in 1991 to $30M, or 1150 percent.

Realized a 118 percent increase in sales within three years, then sold controlling interest in company in 1991 to Steel City Corp.

Purchased the company from its original owner, buying 100 percent of its assets.
