Opioid Overdose
In accordance to the Health Minister’s, The Honorable Jane Philpott, memorandum in the middle of June to begin tracking Opioid overdoses in Indigenous communities, I was asked to take charge of the tracking. This included:
Creating a tracking sheet for the rest of the 2017-18 Fiscal Year
Sending an all Units email fax to all nursing stations and NIC’s
Calling the Nursing stations the Friday before we were to receive the first Opioid overdose reports to remind them of that they were due by 1:30 every Monday afternoon.
