1. Egyptian German Automotive Co. (E.G.A.) “Mercedes Benz J.V. in Egypt” 1.1 Brake disk production head - Jan 2010 till now

(BD Manufacturing Manager Deputy since May 2015)

Objectives:

- Assure that the production plan is achieved under Mercedes-Benz quality standard.

- Understand, communicate and follow EGA's challenges, internal process targets/indicators, environmental requirements and company safety regulations.

- Continuously improve machining line working conditions. Main tasks:

1. Achieving daily production plan of BD (Brake Disc) with maximum efficiency according to Customer specs.

2. Cost control within section and achieving budget/cost targets. 3. Supervise machining tools stock management and orders with MRP specialist. 4. Maintaining machines, tools and equipment in good conditions. 5. Applying the proper corrective action & the follow-up for BD production process. Responsibilities

• Conducting the production plan for produced BD to ensure product conformity to MB quality standards, and to conform to ISO/TS 16949, MPS, VDA6.3, ISO 14001 and ISO 180001 standards and company regulations.

• Creating the related department documents (Procedure, work instructions and formats).

• Issuing required performance reports to management.

• Establishing and implementing the required production procedures, work instructions, inspection sheets.

• Follow up the tooling supplier and inspect the received tools.

• Initiate corrective actions for major and repeated problems, problem solving process and implementing of the corrective and preventive actions on the production line.

• Facilitate needed measuring/quality tools and assuring usage of calibrated equipment.

• Managing & continuously evaluating of production engineers and production technicians in terms of disciplinary related tasks and matters.

• Creation and maintenance of all programs of new and in-use models. 1.2 Brake Disc Production & Axles assembly Supervisor - May 2008 till Jan 2010 Objectives:

- Improve operation of BD machining & Axles assembly to ensure product conformity to MB quality standards, and to conform to ISO/TS 16949, MPS, VDA6.3 and ISO 14001 standards and company regulations.

- Understand, communicate and follow EGA's challenges, internal process targets/indicators, environmental requirements and company safety regulations. Main tasks & responsibilities:

• Establish and continuously update documentations for machining line to ensure best product quality and daily reporting to the section head.

• Problem investigation and analysis in cooperation with Quality (if needed) to solve the frequent problems.

• Coordinate continuous improvement workshops to apply new methods and ideas to improve the performance of machining line.

• Assure proper use of Quality documents (Procedure, work instructions, format and recording).

• Assist shift engineers statistical problem analysis and results evaluation.

• Initiate corrective actions for major and repeated problems, problem solving process and implementing of the corrective and preventive actions on the production line.

• Six Sigma team members to reduce scarp machining percentage.

• Team leader to Measuring System Analysis for different measuring devices.

• Study and analyze repetitive faults and investigate methods for preventing them in cooperation with shift engineers and maintenance staff.

• Coordinate implementation of MPS and SFM in Component factory and maintain these systems through continuous auditing and mentoring. 1.3 Production Shift Engineer - May 2006 to May 2008 Objectives:

- Organize shift operation to achieve daily production plan and maintain product quality for brake disk machining line.

- Understand, communicate and follow EGA’s challenges, internal process indicators/targets, environmental requirements and company safety regulations. Main tasks & responsibilities:

• Arrange technicians in their shift according to their qualifications to achieve highest production rate.

• Resolving faults and problems related to software and operation in Brake Disk machining line to maintain smooth uninterrupted operation.

• Assure continuous realization of product dimensions after each operation to maintain best product quality as per Mercedes specifications.

• Assure continuous application of Total Productive Maintenance in the shift as per TPM schedule.

• Supply all working documents and papers needed to run the machining line for machines setup and continuous product monitoring and monitor its application.

• Assure accurate execution of procedures and work instructions concerning Brake Disk machining.

• Adjust programs of CNC machines as required to assure highest quality of product. Special achievements in EGA:

• Production team leader in the new Mercedes models project (W204, the new C-class) – Axles assembly on 2008.

• Supervising the machining lines dismantling in Mercedes, Germany on 2009.

• The pre-acceptance of the 1-Million BD machining lines, Weisser Söhn, Germany on Feb 2010.

• The pre-acceptance of the new painting system, Sprimag, Germany on May 2010.

• Production team leader in the start-up of the 1-Million Brake Disk project on Jan. 2011.

• Production team leader in the Brake disk business expansion project with Volkswagen AG on May 2013.

• Production team leader in TOYOTA Fortuner project in Brake disk & Axles assembly project with TOYOTA Egypt in Aug. 2016.

2. FaraTech Co. - for medical equipment
