Mobile Service Technician

I was responsible for repairing and programming Digital/Analogue Mobile and Portable Radios. Also in charge of installation, configuration, coverage testing for In-Building systems for the new by-law for E-Comm.(911) and Cell Boosters for new buildings and small businesses where no coverage was available on locations.

Hired for a contract position, I was responsible for ensuring contractors and TELUS employees performed their tasks as required, checking completed work against the most recent fibre build plans. Completed weekly safety and branding inspections, reporting discrepancies to the Regional Manager regularly. Guaranteed updates were completed in a timely manner to meet project deadlines. Trained other QA/QC Inspectors on reporting tools.

Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour Bus Operator/Guide

As a tour bus operator and guide with Westcoast Sightseeing, I drove a 54-passenger coach-bus, acting as an ambassador for the city of Vancouver, assisting passengers and adding my own commentary to the World-class recording the company is known for. During the season I received eight 5* ratings on Trip Advisor, the only driver to receive such accolades in the company’s history, resulting in a nomination for a Vancouver Tourism Award.
