PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

VT Group – Huntsville, AL July 2016 – January 2017

HH-60G System Engineer

Worked on HH-60G helicopter for the USAF at Robins AFB, GA. Jobs included 107’s, 202’s, 339’s and including pin-to-pin. These 107’s had to be turned around in 2-days and 202/339’s had to be turned around in two weeks. Research on the helicopter was valid until we grounded it.

HMR TECH – Huntsville, AL December 2015 – May2016

EC-130J Systems Engineer

Performed work on the EC-130J aircraft. Worked on JTWS, RAMS, De-Mod 7.1/8.0 and Cybersecurity on the EC-130J. Assisted Program Manager with Systems Engineering. I spent two weeks out in China Lake, CA. Verifying that the test and evaluation was good.

Lockheed Martin – Fort Walton Beach, FL February 2015 – October 2015

AC-130J Senior Systems Engineer

Developed the System Performance Specification (SPS) for the 105mm Gun Weapon Systems (GWS) for the AC-130J aircraft for SOCOM. Review budgets, perform quality review of documentation, and conduct review of all engineering documentation to include product specifications, test procedures, and drawings. Developed Systems Requirement Specification (SRS) for the NAVAIR CASA CN-235 aircraft for the Mexican Navy.

Threats of Counter-Narcotics & Global Terror (CN&GT) projects in Belize, Tajikistan, two in Kazakhstan, Mexico and Nigeria. Each program was focused on tasks on specific CN&GT areas. Previously managed foreign military sales (FMS) acquisition/modification and delivery programs of Russian Mi-17/Mi-171E into Iraq and Afghanistan. Helicopter parts procurement and delivery into Yemen. Certification of Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) on commercial airliners. Supervised and managed teams and conducted all program management efforts – financial, schedule, export compliance, quality and various functional specialties. Performed oversight of subcontractors and served as company’s single program interface to customers for all technical and programmatic issues and concerns.

Lead/Systems Engineer

Lead technical and engineering on concurrent FMS acquisition/modification programs and refurbishment/modification programs performing integration of western system equipment into different rotorcraft models (UH-1N, MI17, Mi-171E). Managed day-to-day engineering team tasks, oversaw quality activities and successful execution of all engineering efforts. Developed engineering schedules and budgets, performed quality review and conducted approval for all program engineering documentation to include product specifications, test procedures and drawings.

CSC/BRITISH TELECOM (BT)/CONCERT January 2000 – May 2005

Project Manager

Managed systems test team responsible for quality testing of the network management systems delivered to British Telecom (BT) for use in FR/ATM, MPLS and Voice networks. Coordinated with developers, program management, network and operations teams, and delivered qualified end-to-end system into production meeting customer requirements, reducing manual intervention and eliminating violations of Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Avionics systems engineer responsible for the integration, test and evaluation of avionics hardware and software systems on the C-130J aircraft for the Italian Air Force.

THE BOEING COMPANY, Duluth, GA July 1997 – September 1998

Systems Engineer

Performed research and development, and test and evaluation of U.S. Air Force and foreign military missile systems. Developed technical requirements specification for Inertial Navigation Unit (INU) replacement on the U.S. Air Force AGM-130 missile system and software requirements specification guidance, navigation, and control system for the United Kingdom Brimstone anti-armor missile system.

TCS DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES, Warner Robins, Ga April 1989 - July 1997

Senior Program Engineer

Integrated and tested/evaluated the avionics and weapon systems upgrades on the U.S. Air Force HH/MH-60G, the U.S. Army MH-60A, and other military platforms. Collected 350+ hours of flight time experience. Avionics included radios, lighting, FLIR, self-defense systems (chaff/flare), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Doppler Navigation System (DNS), Inertial Navigation System (INS), and Position Location Service (PLS).
