Acessioning & Customer Service Manager 02/2017 – 09/2017

Work with the Customer Service team to follow up on error corrections, coordinate with clinic staff and/or physicians to resolve issues, communicate with Sales Reps, track missing specimens, update daily status reports, and work with the lab staff on compliance or other needs. Resolves all issues related to the receiving, testing, and reporting of sample orders within the lab correctly and with the right sense of urgency. Handles all aspects of managing the Customer Service employees, including hiring, training, and performance management. Ensures that all Customer Service and UTC Labs performance objectives and goals are achieved. Works with lab leadership in the development, documentation, and implementation of new Standard Operating Procedures. Ensures that new clinics are on-boarded quickly, correctly, and completely. Answers and questions and resolves any issues that the clinics may encounter. Communicates effectively with our external lab partners and customers to resolve issues and answer questions completely and in a timely manner. This communication is completed via e-mail, phone, and through various reporting. Leads continuous improvement efforts and implements the results, either within the Customer Service department or as part of a larger UTC team.

Customer Service Representative 08/2016 – 02/2017

Answer and Route Incoming calls from Clinic’s, Clinic Representatives, and Physician’s. Update/Remove account information such as Office Staff or Physician’s. Navigate and Update account information in the Sales Portal. Navigation and use of Pathagility Portal. Assist with clinic’s with getting patient information or demographics updated on reports or getting ETA for dates on Published Results. Assist the Accessioning Team with verifying any errors and discrepancies on Requisitions or Samples. Following and Tracking all orders for assigned clinics to make sure the sample results will meet the promised turnaround time and if not the reason for any delay. Report daily any delays to Lab Director with reasons.

Accessioning/Data Entry 05/2016 - 08/2016

Receive and verify incoming samples. Enter samples into appropriate Engage portal. Document any inconsistencies with demographic, insurance, medication, and/or order information. Assist in numbering and receiving the samples after they have been accessioned. Mark and store all samples, that have been identified as an exception, for next day review by Customer Service. Also assist in lab preparations for the next work day.
