Aided in design & development of double pipe heat exchanger with internally installed mesh

Twist ratio and inlet flow rate was experimented with to optimize the heat exchanger performance

Carried out CFD analysis using Ansys on the heat exchanger to find the effect of the mesh

The optimum effectiveness of the exchanger was obtained at the twist ratio of 1 & flow rate of 0.03

This model found applications in air conditioning systems and radiators Diploma

Conceptualized and developed a Automatic Hydraulic Centre Jack for easier automobile repairs

The automatic jack is activated during any breakdown condition by a dash pad switch

Solenoid valves were used to operate the hydraulic jack which was activated by the dash pad switch

Modeled and manufactured a scaled down prototype which performed its functions successfully INTERNSHIPS & INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Training

Attended an Industrial training at HMT, Kochi for a duration of 2 months between May-June 2013

Worked with simple lathes, CNC machines & learnt about factory automation & quality control

Comprehended the working of HMT’s broad range of machine tools & Special purpose machines
