Summary
Mr. Derby is currently engaged as a Associate Manager/Senior Peoplesoft Technical consultant with a wide and varied background, including PS Administration, Systems Administration experience in windows server 2003, 2008, Tru64, AIX, most flavors of Linux and several lesser versions of Unix. Prior to coming to the PeopleSoft world Mr. Derby worked actively as a Unix/Linux administrator. Working with Tru64, AIX, Linux and Microsoft desktop systems, he built stand-alone servers in Tru64 to build a redundant system as a backup to the billing and administration system for the County Hospital. Mr. Derby later built a stand-alone SFTP server and backup system for Chipotle for credit card and billing systems. Mr. Derby achieved his MSCE while working for the Federal Government, Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). He was also the team lead for two teams, one Rochade Systems Lead and one Microsoft Development Lead. Managed 10 technical consultants supporting PeopleSoft version 7.02 Payroll, 5 of which were engaged in merging payroll data from BP Amoco and other companies acquired through merger.
