•Site Selection & Market Development: Selected, built, and operated some of the highest volume locations for the respective Brands. Developed new markets throughout the Southwest.

•More than 15 years experience working with contract manufacturers, and with shipping and freight companies, both domestic and international.

•Procurement, Supply Line, and Food Safety: Worked with food vendors and distributors, focusing on produce, poultry & beef suppliers, to establish Best Practices from farm to commissary to individual units. Helped write operations and training manuals for inspections of food facilities, logistics and handling, and in-store guidelines to insure freshness and meet HAACP requirements.

•I earned a real estate license in California, and let it lapse when I was living in France.

•I have owned and operated several businesses, ranging from a handful of locations to several hundred. I have acquired, built, developed and operated restaurants of all types, responsible for as many as several thousand employees.

•In addition to my extensive background owning and operating several businesses, I have an MBA in Finance, and I am very knowledgeable and have expertise in financial analysis and projections, and contract negotiations of all types.

•I have a track record of success in many different industries and positions, a strong work ethic, and I am a team-builder and motivator.

Experience:

2010-present: I have spent most of the past seven years living in and working from France --typically 7-10 months each year. During this time I have consulted and advised with several restaurant owners, helping them to learn and execute operational, administrative and behind-the-scenes strategies and techniques to increase sales and improve profits; and in some cases guiding them through exit situations.

I am enthusiastic about using this experience to develop European concepts in the US, and to develop American concepts in Europe.

Partner of a company formed to help small companies become franchisors, and to help

individuals find the best franchise opportunities.

2006-2015: SoCal Brands, LLC:

Managing Partner of a restaurant development company. Growth Brands that we invested in

included Salad Creations and J. Gumbo's, both of which are fast-casual concepts.

2002-2005: JMC Management Company:

General partner of an entity created specifically to invest in restaurant companies.

Founder and Owner of a company that manufactures and markets a unique line of environmentally-friendly cleaning products and personal care products.
