Provides Maintenance and Trouble-shooting support for hardware and software of DCS, PLC, & RTU installed at Company. Develops & implements maintenance strategy for various control systems, in association with asset Divisions. Develops implements and maintains software management system for the control systems installed at the AMPC Company.

-Desalination plant consisting of

SEADAF (Dissolved Air Floatation)- 6 Units and

DMPF (Dual Media Pressurized Filters)- 40 Vessels (1st stage 24 & 2nd stage 16)

Cartridge Filters - 13 Units

RO Racks – 2 Passes ( 13 Racks )

1st pass – 10 Trains

2nd pass - 3 Trains

Permeate Tank, Back Wash Tank, Neutralization Tank, and Outfall,CIP…..

Duties:

Coordination and worked with Hyundai Engineering and Construction (HDEC) Commissioning team, engineers, supervisors and technicians.

Reviewing of Functional Design Specification (FDS), Process calculation chart,

System description of the plant and preparing SAT.

Review of Control logic and operation philosophy.

Commissioning of RO plant / DCS PCS7 Siemens controller.

Execution of functional test based on system and their specific interlocks.

Verifying Loop checks between the HMI/SCADA screens, PLC panels, MCC panels, RIO panels and all devices and instruments in field.

Configuring field instruments with the HART communicator.

Calibration of Analyzers (PH/Conductivity/Turbidity/ORB/Chlorine/HC/MN/SDI)

Calibration of (Transmitters, Switches, Indicators and adjusting the positioners for control valves.

Configuration check of the Communication network.

Reviewing logics, P&ID and hook-up, to check them based on the site requirements.

Documenting the Calibration reports.

Status update on the commissioning activities and reporting daily to MIPCO.

Troubleshooting the totally integrated automation TIA from Siemens ( DCS PCS7 V8.1 and PLC sematic S7 400 + SCADA WINCC ) software and hardware .

Troubleshooting of redundant Profibus communication between RIO panels and the contrl room ; comprising of 6 pair hot/standby controllers and pair of dual redundant scada servers.

PREVIOUS POSITION:

I worked as Instruments &Control Engineer/Supervisor in Al-Mirfa Power Company /ADWEA AlMirfa U.A.E., since March-2001 up to 31/OCT/2015.

Plant is composed of four gas turbines with relative four WHRB (WasteHeat Recovery Boilers), four auxiliary boilers with fuel gas/oil burners, six Desalination units, with the associated common systems: feed water system, Steam system, Sea Water systems, compressors, fuel gas & fuel oil stations.

Job includes preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting & repairing of the plant instruments like the motorized & pneumatic valves and field’s instruments (transmitters, switches, gauges, analyzers, recorders, monitors, electronic cards), and checking/troubleshooting the control logic of the process & signals between control room and the field.

2-Worked as Electrical Engineer in Gulf Industrial Services Company, Abu Dhabi – U.A.E, from April-1998 up to February-2001 (Project of ADNOC-).

Job responsibility includes;

Involved in

Maintenance of electrical system of the entire building, and generator.

Maintenance of UPS system.

Fire alarm system, Fire fighting system, & Hallon gas protection system.

3. -Worked as Electrical Engineer in Jordan New Cables Company, Al-Mafraq – Jordan, from July-1993 to March-1998.
