I was previously employed for 27 years as a Accounting Manager/Accounting Supervisor and the Administrative Assistant to the owner at Harris Corporation, Broadcasting Communication Division (formerly known as Videotek in Pottstown, Pa.) In my role as the Administrative Assistant to the Owner/President of the company for 15 years, I provided outstanding service to him and our customers/vendors to ensure all needs and reports were met on a daily, monthly and yearly basis I was also incharge of the Accounting Department which consisted of 4 employees.
My most recent employment has been as an Accounting Clerk and Customer Service Representative for a company that makes Cold Ace bandage Wraps in Phoenixville, PA. I post all AP, AR, Inventory, Credit & Collections and also make sure that all orders are shipped and billed out on a daily basis.
My previous employment had been as a Bookkeeper and Customer Service Representative for a company that manages trips for student choirs and orchestras around the world. We also have High School students from all over the 50 United States performing in the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City. During this time, I have enhanced my skills and grown greatly in new technology as systems and procedures change.
I feel I have had a very diverse career. I advanced through a series of progressively responsible roles with Videotek, and over the course of my career have significantly expanded my scope of knowledge. I also lead the order fulfillment function and a team of three inside sales employees and was the liaison between the Company and our outside Software Company and Accounting Firm. I do not have a college degree but feel that all the years of experience I have could help me do a great job for you.
