Duties

Collection of premiums from various schemes

To ensure that correct premiums are paid and allocated to correct months on daily basis

To ensure that pre-debits are raised correctly and adjustments are done

To consider age analysis to be able to identify scheme who are in arrears

To ensure that scheme notes are updated

Initiate and follow the process to terminate scheme due to non payment

To do the reconciliation from our side when a refund is requested by client to make sure that the money their asking for is correct

To ensure that remittance advice received from brokers are balancing back to the payment we have received

Ensure that arrears letters for individual policies in regard to returned debit order are sent on monthly basis stating the specific reasons for the returns

Ensure that debit order refunds are processed on daily basis e.g double deduction or duplicate of members

To do a recon from the schedule we received from various groups to ensure that it balances back to the monies we have received

Initiate policy cancellations for non payments when members have exhausted their “cooling of” period which is a non payment for a maximum of four month. Members are entitled to a concession when they have three months outstanding premiums

Make sure that manual payments are imported to individual level on monthly basis

To ensure that all queries from external and internal clients regarding premiums are attended to

Confirmation of premiums within 1 hour (claim process )

To submit the monthly report with figures of new business
