Currently working as Head of the local procurement department at Al-Arabiya for industry & trading Est. (specialized in Electricity Generators manufacturing & assembly ) including public relations at Alexandria general free zone since 1/12/2012 till now .

Five years of experience in the procurement field gained me the following points :

1-Ensure that all procurement processes like LPO request, approval, supplier selection are carried out effectively and as per requirements by company policy .

2-Support management in successfully implementing procurement plan and strategy by evaluating bids on a preliminary basis and optimizing costs & quality to ensure adherence to plans .

3-Ensure the ongoing of the procurement process of floating requests for quotations, evaluating the quotes, coordinating the technical evaluation with the end users at every department . Negotiating all purchase requisitions with vendors / suppliers, ensuring the purchase orders are issued and delivery terms of orders are met .

4-Ensure that all purchase requisitions are available with proper documentation, authorized and cost codes available, quotations are scrutinized for the terms and conditions, payment terms, delivery period, warranty, after sale service, insurance and any other requirement as per the company policy and in the best interest of the company.

5-Ensure that all orders are issued and processed in sufficient time to ensure operational requirements are met according to specifications and on time with minimum overheads to facilitate smooth operations .

6-Arrange for timely submissions of invoices to finance department ensuring that all the invoices received are mapped with job / delivery completion and are approved for the payment .

7-Establish and maintain good work relationship with vendors / suppliers, monitor their performance and contract compliance to ensure optimum level of service delivery.

8-Ensure timely and prompt reporting of all weekly, monthly, bi-annually reports . Reports of savings achieved on a monthly basis to the management in charge .

9-Liaise with suppliers to provide accurate feedback on service level concerns and make recommendations for improvement when appropriate to ensure adherence to such service level agreements / contracts .

10-Coordinate with all levels of user department, analyze & summarize feedback on supplier services to prepare the repot to management.

11-Also some special personal skills job related such as :
