Privileges at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, a Banner Healthcare Facility serving the Interior of Alaska. 1st assist C/Sections, and limited OB ultrasounds, co-manage high risk OB and serve as resource/backup for area lay midwifery birth center for transports. Note: Both Chena OB/GYN and Fairbanks Memorial Hospital were clinical practice sites for medical, advance practice nursing, registered nursing and EMT students. Weekly, I facilitated various components of their respective OB/GYN experiences. 08/2012 – 08/2013: Bassett Healthcare Network, Bassett Medical Center -- Full scope practice 800 deliveries per year regional health center. Privileges in Obstetrics and Gynecology, additional privileges at Cobleskill Regional Hospital, Columbia University medical student preceptor, NP/RN student preceptor

07/2009 – 07/2012: Tanana Chiefs Conference at Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center -- Full scope including newborn nursery for tribal health organization serving interior AK. Privileges at Fairbanks Memorial, a Banner Healthcare facility new to midwifery. Helped develop policies for Midwifery care, and serving as Alpha site for IHS new OB EHR packet. Preceptor site for NP, PA, CHAP workers and medical students; some Village visits. IP, AP, PP, GYN and some primary care at this busy Native Facility, 1st assist, 3rd degree repair, Implanon ultrasound, Vacuum, newborn thru 1 year. High risk population. 01/2008 – 07/2009: Sioux Reservation / Northeast Montana Health -- First served as sole midwife in a rural Indian Health site in South Dakota, and then transferred to Eastern Montana to the Ft. Peck Reservation as second midwife. Full scope practice including first assist C/S, gynecology patients, primary care, newborn care in nursery and thru 1st year well child.
