Redesigned heating and cooling controls resulting in energy savings and more consistent temperatures on the production floor.

Redid the flow of Brine System resulting in more consistent product and reduced quality issues

Worked to change Cure Room controls for more consistent temperatures and brought in makeup air for the co2 removal

2006 – 2008

Reported to the Plant Manager. Was responsible for the daily production and insured customer needs were met. Interviewed, and hired new employees. Disciplined Employees. Ordered plant supplies and assisted the Maintenance Manager when needed .

Was part of the team that reduced plant bottom line losses by 99%

Rewrote CIP recipes which resulted in reduced quality holds by 90%

Assisted in the installation of new fillers and filler lines to reduce downtime and product loss

Was a part of the team that brought in several new product lines.

Designed a new bearing for cone vats agitators that improved how they cleaned during CIP

1983 – 2004 Bancroft Dairy (Dean Foods) Madison, Wisconsin

Manufacture of ESL lines, Cottage Cheese, Sour Cream and Yogurt products.

1999 - 2004 Production Supervisor

Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager. Responsible for managing all second shift production operations. Directed a staff of 45 hourly employees, 2 Laboratory employees, 3 Shipping Employees.

Identified that spay balls were not in the correct position to properly clean tanks, this reduced the quality holds for both the Sour Cream and Yogurt lines significantly.

Worked with the Maintenance group to overcome many issues which resulted in better productivity.

Served on a Safety Committee.

1983 - 2004 Hourly Employee

Reporting to the Production Manager. Responsible for meeting production goals, quality specifications.

Was a Vacation Relief, changed jobs every week to fill in for other employees that were on vacation. Was able to learn how the plant operated.
