Objective

To enhance my software and hardware understandings on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and its applications.

EXPERIENCE

JULY 27, 2016 – PRESENT

TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (JUNIOR LEVEL), Teradyne Philippines Ltd.

Responsibilities:

Handles Specific Review (SPR) and Pass Checker Failed Device (PCFD) cases.

-SPR and PCFD cases are special cases wherein the board passes our test (diagnostic test) but causes the device of the customer to fail or in other words a test escapee in our side.

In order to prevent this kind of problem to happen again we need replicate the failure setup and create a standalone screening test program to trap boards with the same issue before releasing it in the repair floor. Also we will be rated by the customer after each case.

Design/initiate a cost saving or customers satisfaction project.

-These are projects that will greatly impact the customer or the company.

Achievements:

Presented a paper entitled “Analyzing ATE Relays with the Magnetostrictive Twist Test (MTT) using Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)” in 2nd ASEMEP Cebu Technical Symposium CSECE last July 27-28 2017.

Received positive feedbacks from the external (other company) and internal (repair) customers regarding the standalone screening test program and support that I have provided to them.

For customer satisfaction, I also created a standalone .exe program for the customer that will auto email there data logs to repair centers but it needs management approval (ongoing).
