Genuine Parts Company, Atlanta, Ga Jan 2014 – June 2017 Managed 3 Quality Assurance teams, implementing processes and standards. HP ALM was used as the Test Management Tool, JIRA used to assign work and assisted with Release Management and Service Now was used to update customer status.

• Managed a team of 11 resources across multiple groups, JDEdwards, eCommerce and Business Intelligence (BI). Performed Unit, Regression, Functional and systems testing as well as disaster recovery testing for data center upgrade, ensuring successful fail over testing.

• Increased the transparency of the QA team by 90% through reporting and metrics.

• Defined and established Quality Assurance processes across the groups. Using all 5 modules of HP ALM.

• Developed a Job Aid format and made accessible 18 Job Aids, these jobs aid were instrumental in the cross training of current employees and onboarding of new employees.

• Partnered with the development teams to deliver quality products to our customer by putting process benchmarks in place and assisted with the implementation of a Release Process.

SITA, Atlanta, GA Apr 2008 – Dec 2013

Managed 5 Quality Assurance teams and lead the CMMI Technical Test team implementing Quality Assurance Test Standards across the company. Managed Airport Connect Platform Testing, Kiosk and Web Testing, Messaging Testing, Test Management Tools and Data Center Operations Migration teams. Responsible for the adapting the company’s Operations/Organization doctrine.

• Led 30 employees onshore and 15 employees offshore. Team was responsible for Unit, Regression, Functional and systems testing. Working in Agile and Waterfall test environments. Responsible for gathering the requirements for data center migration and ensuring successful fail over testing. Worked with Application Managers to determine required space and determining which applications could be cloud based.

• Defined and established QA processes and procedures that were used throughout the Quality Assurance organization. Implementing Test Plan Templates, Test Case writing procedures, Test Case Peer Reviews, Test Case Results, Defect Tracking, Monthly Dashboard Metrics report and Root Cause Analysis process.

• Established a blended test methodology that was effective in delivering on time and with quality. This aiding in increasing the on-time deployment of code to our customers by 95% in one year.

• Collaborated with the Development and Project Management Office to work on intercept processes which also aided in customer delivery and satisfaction by exposing the gaps in the current delivery model that was keeping us from a consistent approach to delivering on-time and with quality.

• Established SLA’s and engagement process for the usage of HP ALM (Quality Center), Quick Test Professional and Load Runner.

• Led the Test Management Process for CMMI working with 15 team members across the test organization and 25 leaders across the company. Performed gap analysis to understand the gaps in the organization and closed those gaps to streamline the processes across the organization.

• Managed over a 1.7 million dollars budget.

EarthLink Inc., Atlanta, GA Apr 2006 – Apr 2008

Managed 5 business areas: Voice, Store, Value Added Services, Muni Wi-Fi and Finance. Worked with our QA Director to acquire HP Quality Center as the Test Management Tool and implemented standard procedures and processes across the organization.

• Led a team of 21 employees which consisted of onshore and offshore personnel

• Defined, documented and implemented the Quality Assurance processes for all phases of the SDLC

• Responsible for negotiating and the purchase of HP Quality Center 9.0.

• Break fixes decreased by 50% in one year under my management through the implementation of an efficient handoff from development.

• Collaborated with the developments teams to deliver releases on-time and with quality, establishing a 95% success factor for all work delivered.

• Managed approximately a million-dollar budget.
