Festival Chair

After serving on the volunteer committee for several years, I received appointment of “Chair” for this annual event from the Mayor of the Township of West Milford. This annual event brings in over 18,000 people to the town center of West Milford. With the committee, we have created a dynamic celebration for the people and businesses of West Milford. We have vendors, musicians, artists, demonstrations, contests, performances, rides, food and more!

Duties: Supervised and coordinated all aspects of the festival (corporate sponsors, marketing, press interviews, volunteers, signage, budget, Township Department responsibilities, vendor registration and management.

The Trail of Terror, West Milford, NJ Jul 2009 to Nov 2010

Event Chair

This spooky walk through the woods event was created as a venue to provide donations to local charities. The local theatre group volunteered their time and creativity. This event is held two nights in October and last year generated over $7,000 in donations.

The Township of West Milford’s 175th Anniversary, West Milford, NJ Jul 2008 to Jan 2010

Event Co-Chair

This anniversary was celebrated at four different township events. The anniversary celebration culminated with a parade through town that concluded in a family picnic and fun-day. Duties: Corporate sponsors, volunteers, media and representation at all of the events.
