The Occupational Health&Safety Service in Ericsson Spain reports to HR Department and give support to more than 2000 employees located in different work centers. Includes in its structure 4 OHS Expert Technicians, 2 OHS Doctors and 2 OHS Nurses including me as an OHS Expert also.

Duties/Responsibilities

Specific role as an Occupational Health&Safety Nurse in Health Surveillance, medical protocols, medical checkups (including blood and urine tests, spirometry, electrocardiogram, audiometry, vision test, checking vital sings).

Nursing consultation: Suturing, monitoring vital sings, vaccinations, laboratory tests and medical consultation support.

Travel Vaccination: each employee who has a business travel under Ericsson ́s policies must have a personal vaccination plan, including vaccines like Yellow Fever, Meningitis, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid Fever, Tetanus, Diphtheria and Cholera. Also we give medication against malaria and first aids boxes to prevent injuries and diseases during the travel. Labor Accidents: as a medical center we attend all the emergencies that take place in any work center and, in case of serious accidents, refer them to the Hospital.
