I am a talented and creative accomplished hotelier with extensive experience in directing operations with experience in budgeting, forecasting, yield and revenue management and human resources management, rooms’ management, food and beverage management, sales and marketing. I always strive for perfection and profitability whilst maintaining an attractive condition of the business property and environs.

Before accepting to take up the position of Chief Operating Officer, I consulted and supervised the construction of the hotel on behalf of Best Western International Hotel Group. Being overall responsible of construction, brand specifications and policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Developing and overseeing development of strategic plans for the hotel, delegate tasks as appropriate to ensure achievement of such plans and programs.

Ensure policies, procedures and formal delegation is in place to maintain effective coordination and control of all divisions and business unit activities.

Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, guests, and employees by developing contingency plans and implementing appropriate precautionary and preventive measures including staff training to handle emergencies and other such events.

Instill and reinforce the development of an understanding service culture while ensuring that all guest service issues are handled expeditiously and with careful attention.

Ensure that business units/hotels are capable of demand forecasting, budgeting, revenue management, costing and have in place procurement and accounting systems to ensure timely ordering and maintenance of supplies, food items and beverages.

Overseeing recruitment, selection and training of personnel who possess the necessary expertise, talent and motivation to achieve corporate performance goals and objectives.

Support division-wide performance planning, coaching, appraisal and discipline programs to ensure consistent, fair and transparent implementation and compliance with company policies and procedures.

In accordance with company human resources policies and procedures, and in coordination with head of human resources, review, recommend or approve promotion, transfers and salary reviews.
