I am a Project Controls (CEPS) member with engineering background and extensive experience in the oil & gas field on a wide range of construction projects both Greenfield and Brownfield. I have good knowledge of Second Generation and Sour Gas Injection Plants in Tengiz field (Kazakhstan), Operations and Maintenance of process equipment such as heat exchangers, compressors, vessels, reactors and etc. I have been a part of Turnaround team and participated in execution of the largest Tengizchevroil (TCO –a joint venture between Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Lukoil and KazMunaiGaz) SGP/SGI 2012 Turnaround project. Have an extensive experience working in TCO Major Capital projects including critical Cargo Transportation Project which is the part of the Future Growth Project (FGP).

Worked on TCO CaTRo project for construction of the Cargo Offloading Facility, Cargo Storage Facility, Causeway and Roads between Prorva and Tengiz fields for transportation of the heavy process equipment required for the expansion of the Second Generation and Sour Gas Injection Plants with TIC of over $2bln budget during all FEED phases (Engineering, Procurement and Construction).

I was responsible for two major roads construction and sheetpiles, precast piles installation scope. I also developed the Recovery Plan after major surge at the project. I oversaw and mentored two major Contractor Planning teams supervising their baseline schedules and progress reports, logics, forecast and histograms as well as developing the baseline schedule, updating the live schedule, forecasting VOWD for the scope I was assigned to and assisting Lead Planners with various tasks. Maintain Primavera Schedule:

o Develop and implement fully integrated schedule of cross-functional interfaces between engineering, procurement materials, estimating, cost management, construction and commissioning, safety, quality

o Report EPC progress through activities and deliverables using earned value (EVM), identify and assist in analysis of project variances, assist in developing corrective actions and coordinate resolution of variances

o Identify, evaluate and report deviations from the Baseline schedule; manage impact of change and trends and resulting in re-baselines;

o Interface with project team disciplines to update schedule with actual progress against baseline o Evaluate critical path and identify critical activities and advise to Project Management; o Update the Resource loaded Construction and related Procurement, Engineering schedule on the weekly basis which included actual progress of activities, installed quantities, manhours, material, remaining duration, analyzing the Live schedule against the established Baseline and identifying the slippages

o Involved in the Project Re-Baseline development

o Developing the schedule and estimating the budgeted manhours and material and duration with the appropriate logical sequence based on the BOQ of the Engineering Drawings and the Contracts


o Interface with the Construction Management to align the construction sequence in the schedule o Coordinate with Senior Planning Engineer the effective implementation and monitoring of Look- Ahead-Schedule including the project actual accomplishments o Reporting to the Project Management Team the status of the actual progress against the forecast plan and provide corrective actions necessary if the planned schedule is not achieved o Progress monitoring of specific project areas on a regular basis. Resolve any problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts. Prepare and maintain package work plans and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule

Weekly update of the Progress Measurement Report (activities physical progress, actual manhours, material installed against the forecast/budget and measuring Earned Values, KPI’s)

Developing and updating the progress reporting tools and producing Look- Ahead schedules to the Project Leadership Team such as Progress S- curves and Histograms, Weekly Dashboards, Contractor Performance Sheets

Proposed and developed the Recovery Plans for two major scopes of the project to achieve the target dates and monitored the actual recovery work against the forecast

Assessed the required manpower and required bedding capacity of the Contractors and monitored the Contractor Camps construction to ensure construction progress is in line with the schedule to be ready for the work commencement

Updating the TCO Weekly Reports for FGP Management and preparing the visual aids such as the Schematic Report and the Site Photo Report

Prepare the Monthly Cost Forecast (VOWD) based on the updated schedule for the Cost Control Team

Overseeing the Construction Contractor to make sure all the Planning Deliverables are provided in an accurate manner such as Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports, Schedule updates against the Baseline, S-curves and approving them for issue

Mentoring and providing guidance to the Contractor Planning Engineers at the early stage of mobilization to ensure their schedule and report updates are correct and in line with the TCO requirements

Site visits to monitor the physical progress of the work against reported schedule and to complete Behaviour Based Safety program

Continues interface with the Construction, Quality Control, Design Engineering and Quantity Surveyor Teams to ensure all aspects of the project were on schedule and within the parameters of the budget.

Facilitate and lead the Planning meeting with the Contractor Planning Engineers for planning/schedule development

Support development of Project Controls Standards and Procedures. Supervise and supports the compilation of historical data

I and my b2b were able to translate over 26, 000 activities in Primavera schedule which used to be updated continuously during SGP Turnaround Project. Assisted Lead Planner with Primavera update
