EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

An experienced Software Test Engineer and Systems Engineer, with over 20 years of Test engineering experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Nearly twelve years spent supporting the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) as a test director. Used systems engineering experience to design test plans, write detailed test procedures, and develop test reports. Performed regression testing, integration testing, unit testing, and independent verification and validation testing for a USG Customer. In doing so, Mr. Meredith acquired skills in Agile Testing, Scrum methodology and Remedy discrepancy reporting. Spent 16+ years as a Test Engineer and 4 previous years performing system administration and peripheral equipment repair for NGA’s Imagery Analysis program, finding innovative ways to improve client uptime. (08/2006 – 10/2012) Served as a Systems Engineer and Test Director in support of the NGA Test Organization (NTO) in Springfield, VA, as well as various USG and NSA Client sites. As the NTO representative, Mr. Meredith participated in the SDLC by consulting with clients, subject matter experts, project managers and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes on a wide range of software and hardware projects. These included small projects like MapInfo, a workstation level mapping and video program to enterprise-level projects like IEC and Windows-7 migration as well as Adobe Photoshop and migrations from Mac OS to Windows-XP. Installed, integrated and successfully deployed several enterprise-level project management system which supports the Information Assurance (IA) risk management framework. Mr. Meredith served as the Systems Engineer and Test Director for the installation and testing of the NGA Enterprise Messaging System (EMS) on NGA’s classified and unclassified networks. Changes in political requirements resulted in the need for flexibility in determining how to execute new requirements using the same amount of space and resources.

(08/2002 – 08/2006) Served as a Systems Analyst and Systems Engineer in support of the NTO. Prepared, wrote, and executed integration plans, convened project milestone reviews, directed and performed SDLC documentation, developed written testing procedures, and Integration Testing of system software and hardware for Windows desktop applications for such clientele as USG, INSCOM, and NSA.
