I have managed acute and chronically ill patients in diverse clinical settings. I have held management positions in medical clinic, long term care facility, and hospitals. I have experience in hematology-oncology; internal medicine; dialysis; organ transplant and liver disease. I graduated from UMSL with Masters Degree in nursing Adult Nurse Practitioner.


Clinical Experience

Care St. Alexius; June 2013 – October 2017

Performed as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with a patient panel well over 300 patients. Assessed undifferentiated patients with a wide-range of acute, non-acute and chronic medical conditions. Extensive experience in obtaining and reviewing patient histories and complaints as well as treatments and referrals arranged and/or provided. Performed physical examinations; formulated differential diagnoses and carried through management treatment plans ensuring proper follow-up care. I worked out of a time-share office at least 4 days a week and additionally ran a wound-care clinic on other days based out of St. Alexius Hospital. Medwin Primary Care; February 2012 – March 2013

Internal Medicine office, working as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, seeing 10-15 patients daily, working with an Internal medicine M.D. diagnosing, managing and prescribing for patients with diabetes, CHF, high blood pressure arthritis. I followed a patient panel of 250; I saw these patients in the office as well as in the hospital and nursing home settings.

I provide comprehensive care and teaching for patients and families who are coping with the diagnosis of cancer and the care that entails, additionally caring for renal, HIV and any other medically managed patients. I have also assisted in updating the peritoneal dialysis protocol and have given several in-services on the subject. Served in a role as a clinician and advocate for Hepatitis C patients, liver transplant patients, and GI. Scheduling procedures, running clinics, monitoring labs for patients on interferon treatments and on immunosuppressant drug therapy following liver transplant. patient education and assisting with liver biopsies. Staff Nurse, Saint Anthony’s Hospital, Saint Louis MO; December 2001- March 2002 Hospice Nurse, Home and Long term care facility visits to hospice patients which included patient and family education how to manage care, pain management and grief counseling. Community Service and Presentations

While living in Seattle I volunteered for an AIDS Hospice, I picked up patients that used the day care center and learned how real everyday people come down with this horrible disease. I also worked for a pediatrician soon after graduating with my Associates Degree in Nursing performing triage for parents calling with questions; rooming patients; administering immunizations.
