Directly supervise daily custodial activities to ensure staff is working in a safe and effective manner to achieve the facilities custodial goals and meets expected standards.

Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of custodial staff, ensuring personnel is knowledgeable of policies and safety procedures, related to custodial duties and in the operations of custodial equipment.

Responsible for the selection, orientation, training, and discipline of Student Staff.

Oversee and participate in the completion of all classroom and event set ups.

Assist with the resolution of WUC building issues to ensure effective building management.

Responsible for effectively cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, offices, game rooms, computer lab, fitness center; and all other areas throughout the WUC.

Assist with minor nontechnical repairs to buildings and fixtures including the replacement of light bulbs, hanging of bulletin boards, and painting of WUC. Report the need for maintenance and repair and assist in making minor repairs.

Assist with floor care treatment which included dusting, sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing. Carpet shampooing, etc.

CUSTODIAL WORKER (TEMP) April 2013 – June 2013

Responsible for Floor care throughout the Housing Facilities which included the dusting, sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing, of floors in dorm rooms as wells as student apartments.

Responsible for the proper cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms and living quarters throughout housing facilities.

Responsible for the removal of garbage, unclaimed items and any other debris left in Housing facilities. Also the cleaning of restrooms and all other areas occupied by students throughout the Housing Facilities.
