EXPERIENCE:
RR Kabel, Junior Engineer, Vadodara, India Sep 2014- Feb 2015
Co-ordinated lighting, power and fire alarm drawings per contract specifications including the low voltage wiring for the wi-fi systems and the gym equipment.
Prepared schematic, distribution board details, and generated electrical load calculations for office and residential buildings.
Generated detailed snag reports and progress reports of ongoing project.
Effectively collaborated with consultants, other sub-contractors, planners and the general contractor to meet budget and schedules completing the project efficiently.
Energy Infraprojects Pvt Ltd, Intern, Vadodara,Gujarat, India Jan 2014- July 2014
Worked under senior electrical engineers in project electrical work plant development.
Maintain relations with vendors and subcontractors
Reviewed design engineering drawings and design inputs
Worked with project manager for electrical project establishment and project closeout
Analyzed the whole project and provided some suggestions as needed.
Wanakbori Thermal Power plant, Intern, Wanakbori, India June 2013- Nov 2013
Gained a wide insight about Power plant operation and the distribution of energy produced from the plant in the whole western region of the country.
Ensured the temperature of the boiler was constantly under the required limit.
Examined the process of obtaining power from coal and all the activities that were required to achieve the same.
Co-ordinated with the load distribution of the generated electrical energy and surveyed upon the justification of the division of the produced energy.
RESEARCH PROJECTS:
Study of a Traction Power Equipment for a different rail agencies, Master’s Project(UB)
Objective of the project was to study and to do a literature review about all the traction equipment manufactured by different agencies.
Develop an assessment methodology
Investigate traction power equipment and their specific ratings.
Using figures of the equipment with specifications.
Make appropriate enhancements.
Document methodology approach and findings
Explaining effects of Short Circuit on power systems using EMTP-ATP, (UB)
Firstly, a normal power system was examined without any faults which was then compared with the other data produced by inducing faults at different conditions, such as receiving end bus. Also, we compared the similar faults with varying values of resistance.
Found that the severity faults were relative to fault location, types, also on the magnitude of system voltage at the instant of fault.
Designing and Construction of a modern electrical hoist, (GTU)
Designed an electrical hoist which supported wireless remote and had sensing capabilities to stop collisions and in turn accidents.
State of the art technologies were reviewed and safety after implying them was checked. Conducted rigorous research to analyze the problems due to collision and overload.
A solution incorporating different state of art technologies was Constructed.
SKILLS:
Software: C/C+, MATLAB, Microsoft office, EMTP-ATP, PLC Software.
Certificates: CCNA- Cisco certified Network Associate
