Completed project for Nortel, which involved writing PL/SQL scripts to move data in text delimited format to an Oracle 8 database. Created forms using Visual Basic for data reporting. Use of Data modeling to create Oracle database.

Team Lead for information gathering project to determine status of new projects for Nortel Corp. Traveled to Nortel offices in US and Canada to interview Nortel Managers and Project Leaders. The Interview was to determine if projects were on time, if additional resources are needed and what if any, additional software or hardware.

Developed and maintained Lawson Financial and HR software programs (Micro Focus Cobol) on an Oracle database. Upgraded 6.0 to 7.0 version of Lawson HR. Implemented new Lawson Payroll system. Used SQL Plus to query and modify the test and production database. Checked status the database using Unix scripts. Ran the weekly payroll batch programs for Human Resources department after implementation. The Lawson system was developed and maintained on an Oracle database, Unix system. Made minor charges to Java scripts to check updates in the Oracle database.

Managed a team of programmers as we modified Cobol II and Easytrieve financial programs, AP, GL to modify data fields on DB2 database, MVS/Mainframe(Legacy System) and combine the data processing of the two merging companies. Using Endeavor for program implementation.

Project Manager for the implementation of the Pratt Whitney Help Desk system. Responsibilities included updating MS Project weekly and summarizing and distributing the minutes from the weekly meeting.
