Studied the influence of growth speed on cellular /dendritic array morphology and dependence of primary dendrite spacing with respect to the thermal gradient.

Evaluated the primary, secondary, tertiary dendrite arm spacing, dendrite tip radius and compare with the various theoretical models.

Dependence of liquid composition at dendrite tip and solute content in the interdendritic two phase eutectic was studied with respect to the cooling rate during directional solidification.
