MINI PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

TREATMENT OF EFFLUENT FROM ALUMINIUM ANODIZING PLANT FOR RECOVERY OF ELECTROLYTE (Duration-60 days)

This work is an extended project work on treatment of effluent from aluminium anodizing industry in Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District and to reuse the water into the processes in aluminium anodizing plant or other purposes. The chemical-physical treatment is used to treat the effluent and further adsorption using large surface area adsorbent to convert the waste water to freshwater for reuse, thereby minimizing the water consumption in anodizing plant.

MAJOR PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

DESIGN OF SBA DISTILLATION COLUMN TO IMPROVE THE CAPACITY OF PRODUCTION (Duartion-90 days)

This project work is carried out to increase the capacity of SBA-Secondary Butyl Alcohol production and to achieve maximum purity of the product in Cetex Petrochemicals. Ltd, Manali, Chennai by modifying the design of SBA distillation column.
