Tasks included integration of program plans and schedules, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners, resolves assigned critical path issues and recommended solutions to network logic conflicts. As a design liaison engineer for CL 604 challenger aircraft at Bombardier Canadair, I designed and answered change requests for any issue arose during the design and manufacturing phases. I also coordinated my designs and changes with electrical, weight, stress, manufacturing and the change board for integration. Documents in airframe structure, cable/wire harnessing, installations and supplier interface. Mechanical Engineer and CAD/CAM Coordinator at CAE Electronics Ltd
Worked as the OPI (Officer of Prime Interest), led a team of 10 system analysts, engineers, logistic supports and business analyst in establishing a CAD/CAM/CAE infrastructure for CF-18 (Canadian Air Force) maintenance project. Tasks included integration of program plans and schedules, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners, resolves assigned critical path issues and recommended solutions to network logic conflicts. The new system replaced the aging CADAM and CADDS applications hosted in IBM mainframe, migrated all legacy data into a new database, established a list of new procedures, processes, configuration controls and data securities.
Assigned as a mechanical engineer and a team member of full flight simulator design team for C5 (US Army), accomplished a design the tilting mechanism to lift entire display system for mid-air refueling training simulation. Other designs also included: Tele-manipulator for Hydro Quebec, control cabinet assembly and cooling/thermal study. Worked as the CAD/CAM coordinator for design and manufacturing and made end-to-end processes between Intergraph CAD design to CADKey and eventually generated CNC tool path in manufacturing floor. Thermal analysis, heat sink extrusion design and electronic packaging.
