Branch Manager – Responsible for Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and all of Long Island. Took over a Branch with some significant personnel and process issues and quickly developed a strong team and implemented processes in all lines of the business. In the first full fiscal year of management, the Branch had the best EBIT performance ever for the Branch and a year over year increase of $1 Million dollars, almost a 20% increase.

3/2014 – 6/2016 Unitec Elevator Company/Otis Elevator Company – NYC

President/General Manager – Manhattan and NY Metropolitan area. 15 Direct Reports and a total of over 250 in the office, warehouse and field employees. Total revenue of over $55 million. This particular branch had negative profit for 3 consecutive years prior to 2014. Improved year over year profit performance by 176% in year one and 168% in year two. Awarded the Otis Americas Modernization Excellence and Profit Awards. Awarded the Eastern Region Modernization, Profit and a finalist for the Branch of the Year Award. Success in this organization was obtained by bottoms up process changes, efficiency improvements, overhead reduction and key personnel additions.

8/2011 – 3/2014 Otis Elevator Company – Albany NY

Branch Manager - Responsible for the Albany and Poughkeepsie areas from south of Poughkeepsie to the Canadian border. Managed 12 direct reports and 65 field technicians in the Service, Modernization and New Equipment sectors of the business. Direct profit and loss responsibility for a business grossing over 24 million dollars. Taking over of this troubled Branch, in less than 3 years, increased profit 275% and increased sales from $14 Million to over $24 Million. Was Awarded the Otis Americas Overall Branch Excellence Award (Branch of the Year) in 2013. Additional Branch Awards were the Eastern Region Branch of the Year, Regional Modernization Performance Excellence, Regional Profit Award, and Regional Asset Management Excellence Award.

11/2007-7/2011 Otis Elevator Company – Philadelphia PA

Service Operations Manager – Managed a team of 14 technicians in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Transformed the service business from a break even operation to a more than 20 percent profit margin business in a very short period of time. Developed exceptional customer relationships and was influential in numerous contract renewals and modernization contracts. Implemented and/or improved nearly all service related processes and procedures to create a more efficient and cost effective operation. Reduce material spending over 20% and manpower more than 10% with a unit growth of 15%.

2006-2007 Binder Machinery Company

GM, Product Support – Responsible for the daily operation of a Heavy Equipment Dealership Service Department. Transitioned the dealership into a brand new facility including the moving a huge Heavy Machinery inventory and fully equipped shop. Significantly increased quality of service operations and improved profitability by increasing efficiency, streamlining operations and reducing waste. Left the industry to return to Otis Elevator Company

Responsible for seeking out new business as well as maintaining current contracts. Responsible for product screening prior to taking on to service from competitors as well as own company new equipment turnover to customers. 2003 – 2005 Otis Elevator Company

Maintenance Supervisor – Service and Maintenance Manager, Center City Philadelphia. Managed the daily activities of 28 Field Associates in a demanding business market. Dramatically improved operations in a short time by completing an extensive work backlog, making up for over a year of stagnant production in the Otis Service business in the Atlantic City and Greater Philadelphia area.
