- Took over for their attorney, who left the company. Redrafted Snow’s standard contracts.
Drove process improvements. Negotiated/redlined customer contracts.
Contracts Manager: (Tesoro 5/2013-11/2013) (Contract Consultant)
- Worked on contracts assigned by BP to Tesoro as part of Tesoro’s acquisition of BP’s Carson, California refinery.
Contracts Analyst: (Dyncorp 9/2011-May/2012) (Contract Consultant)
- Worked as part of a team charged with reviewing, organizing and remediating all corporate
contracts in preparation for US government audit.
IT Contracts Manager: (MedImmune 4/2011-8/2011) (Contract Consultant)
- Led IT contracts renewals, telecomm contract management, staff augmentation as well
as process improvement initiatives.

- Prepared and negotiated SAAS-Software as a Service, client contracts, amendments and
order forms in support of their sales team.
IT Contracts Analyst: (Ericcson 1/2010-9/2010) (Contract Consultant)
- Ericcson hired a team to cost reduce IT services expenditures. Initial estimated
savings was $15M. I identified another $25M in savings.
- Vendor managed their drive testing and EF&I service providers.
IT Procurement Contracts Analyst: (Michael’s Stores 3/2008-10/2008) (Contract Consultant)
-Michael’s hired a team to cost reduce all non-merchandize expenditures. The goal for the team was $15M in savings, which was exceeded by $6M. I was responsible for reviewing all IT spending hardware(servers, routers, IT capital expenditures), new store facilitization, IT services, software, etc.

-Supported Verizon’s Wireless IT team with a wide range of contract services--RFPs, amendments to software contracts, evaluation, preparation, and negotiation of new vendor contracts, Service Level Agreements, etc.)
IT Procurement Contracts Analyst: (Tesoro 4/2007-8/2007) (Contract Consultant)
- Tesoro brought in a team of contracts experts to review all contracts associated with the acquisition of a refinery from a competitor. I was responsible for the negotiation and assignment of IT licenses, and the identification and negotiation of new contracts if the existing contracts could not be assigned. Working under a very tight timeline, the team met the goal of having all of the contracts assigned, prior to acquisition of the refinery, which ensured a seamless transition.
IT Contracts Manager: (Marathon Oil 9/2006-2/2007) (Contract Consultant)
-Working as part of the Procurement department, I was responsible for cradle to grave management of IT contracts, including:
- IT vendor evaluations via RFI/RFP drafting and leadership.
- Job Order and contract negotiation.
- Contract renewals and amendments.
- PO generation.
Software Contracts Manager: (Motorola 1991-6/2004 & Freescale 6/2004-12/2005)
- Drafted and/or negotiated 500+ agreements, including:
- Technology agreements with companies like Microsoft and Sun Microsystems.
- Joint development agreements.
- Subcontractor agreements.
- Customer agreements.
- Shrinkwrap agreements.
- Hardware and software evaluation loan agreements.

- Won concessions in virtually every contract I negotiated, ie.: pricing concessions, schedule
concessions, indemnity concessions, etc.
- Cost reduced the Java agreement with Sun-- $70 million savings.

Business Developer: (Motorola, 1991-2003)
- Worked across the corporation, as Vice President of the Software Business Council,
to grow software revenue.
- Fostered growth and communication across businesses within Motorola through the
development of the Software Business Council website and business plan.
- “Back office” partnership with marketing to build the Java J2ME business.
- Introduced new distribution models and drove developer program licensing.
Program Manager: (Motorola, 1993)
- As program manager for the firmware component of the Motorola Computer Group's
Windows NT platform, I pulled in schedules and led the team to make all
milestone deliveries on or ahead of schedule.
- Program managed the on-time delivery of the Windows NT port to the Apple 8500 server.

-Provided customer service before building a 9-member customer support, product
engineering and documentation team.
