Coding Production Manager / Inventory Operations Manager

Lead four departments and a staff of 100 plus, responsible for the processing of 300K+ physician’s claims for Emergency Departments, Radiology, Orthopedic Surgery and Hospitalists visits in excess of $200 million monthly in gross charges, including ICD-9 and E/M Coding through shared databases and software. Billing processes include the use of offshore teams in conjunction with domestic staff in the seamless execution of responsibilities.

Reduced the average processing time from 6 to 2.5 days by developing and implementing production and quality assurance systems and utilization of offshore resource to meet new SLA’s.


Established all ECI (Electronic Chart Interface) and EDI (Electronic Demographic Interface) processes as clients began to migrate to new EHR’s with export capabilities which enabled operations teams to continue within the revenue cycle as technology evolved.

Operational management and inventory control of the staff and resources in pre-receivable processing

of physician claims through shared databases utilizing 60 direct reports for three departments. Implementation of workflow processes for the use of BPO’s for coding analysis and the use EHR’s in their early stages in the completion of claims and the initiation of the revenue.

Development and implementation of quality assurance and production systems in the reduction of cycle time. Communication of trends and workflow irregularities to clients allowing consistency

within the revenue cycle. Oversight of all pre-receivable EMR and EDI processes and resolution of all pre-billing workflow problems ensuring the consistency of the revenue cycle.

Project management of the document management conversion of paper medical records to EHR’s to enable processing by BPO’s while continuing to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Developed protocols and assisted in the configuration for the interface processes for the ingestion of the scanned documents into the workflow.
