Vehicle Frontal Crash Analysis (CAE-FEA) Wayne State University Feb 2017.
•Simulated frontal, offset, roof & side impact crash situation, positioned H-III dummy, observed results & generated 3D Plots.
•Designed CAD models of vehicle chassis, seat, seat belt and steering using CATIA V5 and UG-NX 10.
•Optimized roof structure by Patch Pattern method reducing 20% weight & composite application on bumper.
•Analyzed stress distribution throughout the chassis frame and human dummy & optimized design by reinforcing ABC pillar
resulting in a 12% reduction of forces experienced.

Rivet Design Optimization Wayne State University Detroit, MI April 2017.
•Half Modelled Punch, Die, and Rivet for axisymmetric analysis using HyperMesh and modeled and assigned boundary conditions.
•Optimized the design of rivet assembly to achieve best secure condition performing the explicit analysis using HyperMesh and Abaqus.
•Minimized Equivalent Plastic Strain in plates of rivet assembly after performing several iterations with varying mesh type and size different rivet geometric dimensions and punch stroke.
